As we do the teaching observation at Future School in Cao Lanh, traditionally their education has been known for its focus on rote learning and memorization. Teachers often used direct instruction methods, and the emphasis was placed on students' ability to retain and reproduce information. Teachers in Future School were generally held in high regard, and students were expected to show respect for their teachers. This cultural aspect might influence the dynamics between teachers and primary students in the classroom. Discipline has historically been an important aspect of the Vietnamese education system, with an emphasis on obedience and adherence to rules. Teachers expected to maintain discipline in the classroom, sometimes resorting to more authoritarian methods. There has been a growing recognition of the importance of interactive and student-centered learning methods in Vietnamese education. This shift aims to encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students. Promoting integration of technology in education, this initiative aimed to equip students with essential digital skills and to facilitate a more interactive and engaging learning environment.

Teaching Methods
Initiating the session with preliminaries, including warm greetings and motivational exercises, the teacher delved into the topic, engaging students through insightful inquiries. Displaying a serene and approachable demeanor, the teacher distributed an activity sheet, initiating a comprehensive discussion. Demonstrating a patient approach, the teacher methodically resolved complexities, guiding students to independently tackle subsequent challenges. Moving around the classroom as students grappled with the task, the teacher adeptly gauged comprehension levels and provided assistance where needed.

Encouraging active participation, the teacher prompted a student to present their solution on the board, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Subsequently, through a well-structured presentation, the teacher unveiled the correct solutions, supplementing the discussion with further insights. As the lesson reached its conclusion, the teacher orchestrated an oral quiz, empowering students to decipher solutions while providing comprehensive explanations. Wrapping up the class, the teacher offered pertinent reminders, reinforcing key points for future reference.
A notable observation was the teacher's use of the local language rather than English to convey mathematical concepts, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject within the cultural context.
Learning materials and Innovation
Amazed by the engaging use of technology, the lesson was initiated by the teacher through the medium of television. The dynamic presentation, adorned with interactive elements, creative visuals, and animated content, left a lasting impression on me. What captivated my attention was the versatility of their teaching board, capable of both upward and downward movement, seamlessly transforming from a conventional whiteboard to a classic blackboard. Its inherent math-friendliness, with intricate grids facilitating graphing activities, added a new dimension to the learning experience.
Evidently resourceful and innovative, the teacher adeptly incorporated various teaching tools into the pedagogy. Utilizing a blend of teacher-designed tasks executed on laptops, computers, and televisions, along with supplementary activity sheets sourced from textbooks, the classroom ambiance brimmed with a blend of traditional and modern teaching methodologies. This approach not only fostered a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter but also stimulated a dynamic and engaging learning environment for all students.


Sources of Learning and Technology
In each classroom, there is a television that teachers can employ for class presentations and others educational related. Additionally, the school boasts various labs, rooms and libraries, all tailored to cater to the diverse requirements of the students.

Authentic Assessment used by the Teacher
Mathematics assessments usually involve the use of traditional way which is pens and paper. To engage students, the teacher delivered meticulously planned, creative, and lively lectures. Rather than providing a step-by-step guide, he encouraged the students to independently tackle the assignment and showcase their work in front of the class. Nurturing confidence and boldness among the students, the teacher plays a pivotal role.
